"The Moors" is a term that has been used to describe North Africans of Arab, Berber and African descent, especially during the time that they occupied Southern Spain, around 700-1450 AD. I was inspired to use this term for "Moor Silver" as it reflects the Arab, Berber and African influences in the different pieces of jewellery.
